Christian Heilmann
Christian Heilmann dedicated most of his time since on educating, writing and sharing, presenting on average at 30 conferences a year. He strives to make code and coders work efficiently and get more done quickly without losing the understanding of what we do. He is the author of several JavaScript books and the Developer Evangelism handbook. He is currently a Senior Program Manager in Microsoft and spends a lot of time pondering how machine learning and AI can aid humans and replace jobs we're too important to do.
AI is the current buzzword, right next to IoT, Blockchain and many others. Naturally, they cause a lot of disturbance in the tech scene, so Chris will attempt to partially diffuse the hype around AI, and give us a realistic sense of what this technology can and can’t do. “What is this thing called AI?” and “How should we approach it?” are just some of the question his talk will answer, as well as putting an emphases on: ”Just because we can make ourselves a sarcastic robot assistant, doesn’t mean we should. Not because robots are going to take over the world, but simply because we don’t need our robot assistants to have those human traits, we have people for that.”
